Members of the media are invited to attend the Competitiveness Improvement Programme (CIP) impact demonstration event that will be hosted by the South Africa Technical Textile Cluster (SATTC), where Minister Davies will deliver the keynote address.

The impact demonstration event is aimed at sharing the results of the Clothing and Textile Competitiveness Programme (CTCP) CIP support in creating the confidence to commit to growth activities and to a permanent capability demonstration expo which has become a destination for several inward buying missions as well as local South African procurement visits in support of Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA).

The SATTC was established to improve the competitiveness of the cluster members and the technical textile value chain. It is one of the first fully integrated value chain clusters in the Clothing and Textile Competitiveness Programme.
