I, MTHOKOZISI ZONDI, Chief Inspector of Mines, under secti6n 49 (6) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No 29 of 1996) and after consultation with the Council, hereby issues the guideline for the compilation of a mandatory code of practice for an occupational health program (occupational hygiene and medical surveillance) on personal exposure to airborne pollutants in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, as set out in the Schedule.
