The Nine Plus progressive unions will be forming a human chain tomorrow, Saturday 6 February 2016 on the lawns in front of the Union Buildings in Pretoria from 10 - 1pm to protest about the new amendments to the law on workers’ pensions, and in support of Numsa’s application under Section 77 of the Labour Relations Act to engage in protected strike action, and to oppose any cuts in spending on social services.
