MEC Mamabolo to meets construction companies in bid to improve infrastructure delivery

MEC for Infrastructure Development in Gauteng Jacob Mamabolo is convening the first gathering with construction companies employed by the Department in an effort to put a stop to poor performance and high cost overruns which have affected the delivery of major infrastructure projects in Gauteng such as schools, clinics, libraries and heritage centres.

The gathering is expected to assist government to realize value for money by delivering quality infrastructure on time and within budget as well as to pay companies within 30 days.   Mamabolo will also reveal partnership initiatives that will assist in creating and reporting on jobs created during the implementation of projects.
