MEC Maile to address the International Association of Gaming Regulators 2017 Annual Conference

MEC for Economic Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Lebogang Maile will tomorrow, 17 August 2017, deliver a keynote address at the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) 2017 Annual Conference in Johannesburg.

IAGR consists of representatives from gaming regulatory organisations throughout the world. The conference will explore issues affecting gaming regulators, policymakers and industry executives in gambling markets around the world.

Attending the annual gathering are IAGR members who represent gaming jurisdictions from throughout the world including Asia, Australia, Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, North America and South America.

The Gauteng Provincial Government, through the Gauteng Gambling Board (GGB), submitted a bid late last year to host the 2017 IAGR conference. The conference rotates among the five regions of the globe represented by a diverse membership. The 2016 conference was hosted in Sydney, Australia.
