Maimane to lead DA march against drugs and crime in Riverlea

23rd January 2015

Tomorrow, 24 January 2014, DA Parliamentary Leader Mmusi Maimane MP and DA Gauteng Provincial Leader John Moodey MPL, will lead a march against drugs and crime in Riverlea, Johannesburg. They will be joined by Cape Town Mayor, Patricia de Lille and Johannesburg Ward 68 by-election candidate, Basil Douglas.

The march forms part of Maimane’s Power to the People Tour, where he is assessing the true state of the nation through various community engagements across the country.

Maimane, de Lille and Moodey will join Douglas in handing over a memorandum to Captain Sibanda of the Langlaagte Police Station, along with a list of identified and suspected drug dens.
