The Premier of the Northern Cape, Mme Sylvia Lucas together with the MEC responsible for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs will on Monday, the 30th of November 2015 visit the Lorato Park Housing Development Project and subsequently address the community of Lorato Park .Premier Sylvia Lucas and MEC Alvin Botes will be accompanied by the Executive Mayor of Sol Plaatjie, Rre David Molusi, representatives of contracting companies and the Military Veterans. Premier Lucas and MEC Botes will launch the second phase of the Lorato Park Housing Development which is 100 Breaking New Ground Houses and outline revised project timelines. The second phase launch will commemorate 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children under the theme “Count Me In: Together Moving A Non-Violent South Africa Forward”.
