The amendment of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), so as to provide for the determination of the conditions of appointment of members of an appeal board by an MEC and no longer by the Minister; to provide for the extension ofthe validity ofvaluation rolls that were in force before July 2005 for a further two years; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
