Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Lebogang Maile, will today table the Department’s 2013/14 Annual Report at the Gauteng Legislature.

The unqualified Annual Report is being tabled at a time when the world economy is undergoing some difficulties, expressed, among others, by a high cost of living, and the erosion of consumer spending power. Despite these challenges, the Department has managed to achieve most of the targets set out in the beginning of the previous year.

The Department has also won the Auditor General’s Award for the best compilation of the Annual Report for 2013/2014 in the Province.
