Invitation to seminars on the International Criminal Court

The Political Economy Series - Institute for the Scientific Study of Society based at the headquarters of the SACP in collaboration with the COSATU Policy Unit will be hosting a lecture series, two seminars, on the International Criminal Court (ICC), the idea behind it and its workings. This at a time when there are serious questions and considerations about the ICC in Africa, including withdrawal from the ICC. Among the important questions to be discussed at the seminar is: What is the problem of the ICC and the alternative we can build to achieve international justice?

The lecturers will be presented by:

Dr Alex Mezyaev,

Professor and  Head of Department of International Law, Law Faculty, from the University of Management TISBI, Kazan, Russian Federation.  Prof Mezyaev is also the Editor-in-Chief of Kazan Journal of International Law and International Relations
