The ANC stalwarts and veterans (the stalwarts) who are signatories to the document, “For the Sake of our Future” will be holding a press conference on Tuesday the 10th January 2017.
The press conference will start at exactly 14h30 at the St George’s Anglican Church, 7 Sherborne Rd, Johannesburg, 2193.
The purpose of the press conference is to:
- allow the stalwarts to comment on the January the 8th Statement, made at the 105th Anniversary of the ANC held at Orlando Stadium, Soweto;
- a progress report on the preparation for the consultative conference. This will also cover the timing of the consultative conference;
- the planned activities of the stalwarts; and
- to allow members of the media to engage with the stalwarts.
Prior to the press conference the stalwarts will be holding a meeting to report back to signatories and to discuss the way forward.
