The Statistician–General, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release crime statistics series volume III: Exploration of selected contact crimes in South Africa (In-depth analysis of Victims of Crime Survey data: 2011–2014/15) findings on Wednesday, the 4th of May 2016.

The main objective of the report is to explore the nature and risks associated with selected contact crimes (murder, assault and sexual offences).
