The Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), Ms Thandi Modise, will attend a mother-and-daughter meeting on Friday, 16 September 2016, in Mamelodi, Tshwane, on the theme “Pass the Baton of Leadership”.

The meeting will coincide with a gala dinner organised by Life-Giving Ministries, to create an opportunity for mothers to pass the baton of faith, skills and knowledge to their daughters and other young women.

“Our vision, through Mme Thandi, is to encourage our daughters to pick up the baton of leadership so they take charge of their lives and reach their God-given potential to move our nation forward,” said Pastor Emelda Setlhalefo-Senokwane of Life-Giving Ministries.
