Baker McKenzie’s partner and Head of Tax in Johannesburg, Stephan Spamer, has received a 2018 Client Choice Award in the Corporate Tax category, South Africa. Spamer specialises in all aspects of international tax, with emphasis on M&A, international double tax agreements and exchange control regulations.

Unlike other awards, winners can only be nominated for the Client Choice Awards programme  by corporate counsel, and this year Client Choice received over 2,500 nominations. Spamer won the award based on excellent reviews from his clients.
