As part of infrastructure development, the Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu will on Friday, 21 October 2016 officially open the Thusanang Primary Health Care Facility in Westonaria, West Rand.

This follows the blossoming of the public private partnership between Gauteng Department of Health, Gold Fields, South Deep Gold Mine and Rand West Local Municipality into a completion of this health care facility.

MEC Mahlangu will deliver a keynote address at the opening of this health care facility located in an area demarcated as Thusanang informal settlement.

The facility will be handed over to the Department of Health at a function to be held as follows:
