The Gauteng Department of Health will tomorrow, 26 February 2015, officially open the Medico-legal centre in Tsakane, Ekurhuleni.

The centre offers services to victims of sexual, physical and child abuse with the aim of reducing the health impact of trauma and violence on survivors. The centre also offers Post Exposure Prophylaxis to victims of rape and refers patients for psycho-social counseling.

The opening of Tsakane Care centre will relieve Far East Rand Care Centre of the workload experienced at the moment.
