Gauteng Government properties go under the hammer

MEC for Infrastructure Development in Gauteng Jacob Mamabolo invites media to the official launch a massive multi-million public auction that will see the sale of over 400 state properties which are no longer in use for strategic purposes.

This is the first, of a series of planned public auctions, and will include the  disposal of the Official Residence of the Premier, one of the most prestigious properties on the portfolio of properties earmarked for disposal.

The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development is the custodian of the Gauteng Provincial Government’s property portfolio valued at around R31 billion such as schools, clinics, hospitals, libraries and heritage sites.


Members of the media are invited to attend the study visit scheduled as follows:
