Gauteng celebrates International Women’s Day

The Gauteng Provincial Government will from Wednesday, 08 March host the Women’s Economic Summit as part of celebrating International Women’s Day.

The three-day summit to be held under the theme “Be bold for change: Radical Economic Transformation, empower a woman, empower a nation across the Gauteng City Region” will among other issues focus on opening up opportunities for women and bringing them into the mainstream economy.

The summit will be addressed by Minister in the Presidency Responsible for Women, Susan Shabangu, Gauteng Premier David Makhura and MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko.
