IFPYB: Mkhuleko Hlengwa condemns the NFPYM over renaming of Mangosuthu Highway

The IFP Youth Brigade has noted the suggestion of the so-called NFP Youth
Movement to the effect that Mangosuthu Highway in Umlazi should be renamed after
fallen soccer great, Senzo Meyiwa.

We strongly condemn the cheapness and opportunistic behaviour of the so-called
NFPYM, they are a bunch of political vultures who want to score political
mileage through our fallen Brother’s name and death. Obviously, this
fly-by-night youth formation is a gathering of air-heads with no sense of
mourning in this dark time that has befallen our Nation.

The IFP Youth Brigade believes that death should never be used as a tool of
campaigning. The NFP should not tarnish Senzo’s memory with cheap politics and
out of clear desperation to be relevant.

Our brother, Senzo, deserves to be honoured and celebrated. He was a great South
African sportsman who represented our country with the highest distinction. His
life will be celebrated for years to come, and deservedly so.

Over the years we will reflect on our brother Senzo’s life and draw worthwhile
inspiration from his legacy. As a nation we must identify together how to honour
this great sportsman of our times.

We reject the sinister and desperate political motives of the NFP kindergarten
grouping who are trying to pit the IFP and the Meyiwa Family against each other.
During this time the IFP stands in solidarity with the Meyiwa family; we mourn
and weep with them, and we most certainly share their loss.

Busi Tshabalala, the NFPYM Airhead-in-Chief, has never been known to be smart,
and through the stupidity of her reckless statement, she has removed all doubt.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Meyiwa family, the nation and his club
family, Orlando Pirates at this time.
