Firearms Control Act (60/2000): Declaration of an amnesty in terms of section 139 of the Act (Gazette No 32738 – Notice No 1112)

By virtue of the powers vested in me by section 139(1) of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 of 2000), Emmanuel Nkosinathi Mthethwa, Minister of Police, hereby declares an amnesty as defined in section 138 of the said Act. Under section 139(2)(b) of the Firearms Control Act, 2000, determines the period duing which persons may apply for amnesty to commence on 11 January 2010 until 11 April 2010.
