Eskom accepts the findings of the Public Protector, and will implement her recommendations.

One of the recommendations, which dealt with reconnecting power supply to the Khumalo family, has already been implemented. Electricity supply to the Khumalo family was reconnected earlier this month upon receipt of the Public Protector’s preliminary report.

Eskom respects the Office of the Public Protector.
