The Department of Energy cordially invites members of the media to an Energy Indaba to be held on 7 - 8 December 2017 at Gallagher Estate Convention Centre, under the theme “Energy Sector Stimulating Economic Growth, Development and Job Creation.”

The Energy Indaba brings together various role players in reigniting economic growth amid the challenges of growth. This event will be addressed by HE President Jacob Zuma and a number of experts in the sector will share concrete solutions on how the sector will re-energize the economy to achieve radical socio-economic transformation whilst creating the necessary jobs. 

Over 700 are expected to attend from the energy sectors, Ministers, Premiers, representatives of local government.

The event is organised as follows:
Date: 7 - 8 December 2017
Time: 08:00 – 17:30 (registration from 07:00 – 8:45)
Venue:  Gallagher Estate Convention Centre, Midrand, Johannesburg.

Members of the media are requested to RSVP by 16:00 on Tuesday, 05 December 2017 by completing the attached registration form with the following information included: Name and Surname, Media house represented and Identity number to Mediadesk@energy.gov.za.
