The Embassy of Japan in collaboration with Mail & Guardian Africa will be hosting a thought leader dialogue to discuss the outcomes of TICAD VI in an effort to deepen public-private partnerships between South Africa and Japan.
          
TICAD VI was held in Africa, in Kenya for the first time since its inception, demonstrating the strong African ownership and deepening partnership among TICAD stakeholders.
TICAD VI was attended by 32 Heads of State and Government from Africa, the Prime Minister of Japan, co-organizers and over 18,000 accredited participants.
It also attracted over 300 top business executives, over 1700 business representatives from Japan (out of a total of 4000 registered participants) and more than 2000 participants from Africa.
