In its continuous efforts to ensure good quality services to its residents, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality will be conducting major maintenance work in Tsakane.

A planned water supply interruption has been scheduled to affect Tsakane Ext. 5, 8 and 11 on Monday, 2 March from 08h00 until 17h00.

The municipality has deployed a team of technicians to concurrently carry out the repair works at Mampuru street and Zulu reservoir.

A team of technicians will be replacing a faulty 160mm valve pipe at Mampuru street while other technicians  are connect a new 250mm pipe to a bulk water supplying water  from Zulu reservoir.

Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic purposes while repair works are being carried out.

The municipality wishes to apologise for any inconvenience to be caused.
