The EFF welcomes the Speaker of the National Assembly, Baleka Mbete’s decision to reschedule the EFF Motion of No Confidence which will now take place tomorrow, 15 February 2018. This means we will no longer be approaching the court on urgent basis to force the motion to be heard this week.

The EFF reiterates its call for all parties to rise and unite behind this motion; the whole country expect a united action in removal of Zuma.

Finally, we welcome the decision to conduct this motion with an open ballot. Now that it is the decision of all parties that Zuma must be removed from office, it is no longer necessary for the motion to be conducted in secret.
