The EFF sends heartfelt and revolutionary condolences on the passing of the government spokesperson, Ronnie Mamoepa. Ronnie Mamoepa had complications emanating from a stroke he suffered in June.

His departure is a loss to the Mamoepa family, government, and the country at large.

We will remember him as a principled and dignified communicator who was not easily captured into justifying factional nonsense. He was also never caught justifying corruption.

He is also the generation of liberation fighters who went to Robin Island very young following the 1976 student uprisings. His contribution in that regard, will also never be erased in our memories.

May his soul rest in revolutionary and perfect peace!
