The Minister of Communications, Faith Muthambi has received and confirmed the resolutions of the special board meeting held on the 26 March 2015 by South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Board. The SABC board resolutions confirmed the vote of no confidence passed against the Non-Executive Directors, Mr M R Lubisi and Ms R Kalidass.

The Minister supports and respects the decision of the SABC Board as is within their delegation provided for in terms of section 71 (3) of the Companies Act no. 71 of 2008.
