The Department of Tourism, through its Social Responsibility Implementation (SRI) Programme, will host graduation ceremonies to honour Limpopo students who participated in the Tourism Buddies Training progammes in the 2014/15 financial year.

Deputy Minister, Tokozile Xasa, will officiate over the ceremony where three hundred and eighty nine (389) students will receive their CATHSSETA accredited National Certificate in Accommodation Services NQF Level 2, and National Certificate in Food and Beverages NQF level 4.

In the 2014/2015 financial year, the Department of Tourism approved the training of learners. The learners enrolled in a 12-month learnership programme composed of 30% theory and 70% practical training, during which they were placed at various hospitality establishments within the province for workplace training.
