The MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr. Sikhumbuzo Eric Kholwane, has given notice and called for the public to comment on the Draft Mpumalanga Economic Regulator Bill, 2017.

Interested parties are invited to submit written submissions of the draft bill within thirty (30) calendar days from the day of publication (30 January 2017).

The draft Bill can be accessed from the Provincial Gazette, Vol 24, No. 2775, and electronically on the websites of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT, www.mpumalanga.gov.za/dedt/legis_policies/bills.asp), the Mpumalanga Gaming Board (MGB, www.mgb.org.za), the Mpumalanga Parks and Tourism Agency (MTPA, www.mpumalanga.com/news-economic-regulator-bill-2017) and the Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA, www.mega.gov.za/downloads/).

The public is also notified that the Mpumalanga Liquor Authority is in the process of relocating to government buildings at First Avenue, MGB Building, White River Mpumalanga Province, 1240.
