DA to report back on progress made in DA-run metros

2nd August 2018

Tomorrow, Friday 3 August 2018, marks two years since the 2016 Local Government Elections in which DA-led governments were elected in cities across the country. As such, Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, Mmusi Maimane, will address the media – and the people of South Africa – providing feedback on the progress being made in Johannesburg, Tshwane, and Nelson Mandela Bay under DA-led governments.

Over the past two years in government, these DA-led metros have been hard at work to ensure that the mess inherited from the ANC is reversed and that stable and efficient governments are put in place, committed to creating jobs and delivering quality services to the people.

Maimane will be joined by the Mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba and the Mayor of Tshwane, Solly Msimanga.

The media is invited as follows:

Date: Friday, 03 August 2018

Time: 10:00

Location: 5 Staib Street, Doornfontein, Johannesburg CBD
