Tomorrow, Thursday 31 January 2019, DA Team One South Africa Spokesperson for Secure Borders, Jacques Julius, and DA EC Premier Campaign Spokesperson for Secure Borders, Chantel King, will be conducting an oversight inspection at the Lesotho border post at Sterkspruit.

They will be joined by DA Team One South Africa Spokesperson for Land, Thandeka Mbabama, and local councillors.

The Lesotho border covers a huge area and is easy to cross. The South African Police Service, South African National Defence Force and Department of Home Affairs are too understaffed to effectively deal with the constant stream of illegal immigrants entering the country.

The DA has a plan to secure our borders, stop corruption at Home Affairs and illegal immigration, and bring change that builds One South Africa for All.
