Kallis is regarded as one of the finest all-rounders in the history of the game.
         
His incredible records for the Proteas are a testament of his indelible imprint on the sport. After announcing his retirement from Test cricket last year he had succeeded in achieving 13 174 runs and 292 wickets.
         
His achievements make him not only one of the country's great sportsmen but also an international sporting icon.
