DA: Safiyia Stanfley wishes matriculants well with final examinations

The DA would like to convey our best wishes to all matriculants who are due to start sitting for their final examinations.

At this time of year, grade 12 pupils find themselves under much pressure.  We therefore call on family members, educators and friends to support them at this trying time in their scholastic careers.

We would also like to encourage matriculants to study hard and to do their best. Comprehensive preparation for the last leg of their basic schooling will prove to be a priceless investment in their future and will no doubt pay off when they apply to study at tertiary institutions and apply for jobs.

The DA also wishes to encourage those learners who may not be properly prepared. To them we say that they must not give up but rather look at how they can improve their future efforts.

We further want to thank the teachers who have assisted and provided valuable contributions to each student that will be writing this final exam. We also wish to thank the school principals and respective officials, whom we trust have done all they can do to ensure the smooth running of the 2014 Grade 12 examinations.
