DA makes public ANC's cadre deployment committee records

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has made public the records received from the African National Congress (ANC) detailing information relating to the ruling party’s cadre deployment committee.

Following a Constitutional Court judgment, the ANC was required to hand over all records, encompassing meeting minutes, CVs, emails, WhatsApp messages and other relevant documents.

The DA said it was releasing the records as part of its commitment to upholding the principles of public transparency.

“We will continue to scrutinise the documents diligently to unveil the network of cadre deployment corruption and a racketeering syndicate that has corrupted and captured the State. The DA remains steadfast in its pursuit of accountability and integrity within the political landscape, and we invite the public to stay engaged in this ongoing effort,” said DA Shadow Minister for Public Service and Administration Leon Schreiber.

The party will soon unpack the information contained in the document and outline its next steps in its fight to end cadre deployment.
