The DA in the North West is proud to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Theologo to the position of a Whip in the North West Provincial Legislature.

Theologo has been a member of the North West Provincial Legislature since May 2014.

During this time, she represented the DA on the Committees of Local Government and Human Settlements, as well as Tourism and proved to be a force to be reckoned with.

She currently serves on the Provincial Executive Committee and Provincial Council where she has been a member since 2011, as well as the Federal Council representing the Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPL).

Theologo was also a councillor in the Mahikeng Local Municipality and Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality from 2011 until 2014. During this period she was caucus leader in both municipalities a Constituency Chair.

Since 2012, she has been a member of the Mahikeng Party Liaison Committee (PLC) of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and a DA Provincial representative on the Provincial PLC.

She also served in the Mafikeng Provincial Hospital and Bopelong Psychiatric hospital boards since 2012.
