DA Leader Maimane to lead protest outside National Treasury

19th July 2017

Tomorrow, Thursday 20 July, Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, Mmusi Maimane, will lead a protest against the capture of the National Treasury by Jacob Zuma’s ANC and the Gupta dynasty.

For the past three years, Zuma and his corrupt friends have desperately sought after the keys to the National Treasury, and to our country’s R1.4 trillion national budget. With the appointment of Gupta-puppet, Malusi Gigaba, the corrupt and the connected now have full access to the people’s money.

We must stop the looting and stealing of South Africa’s resources by those who belong in jail, not in government jobs.

Maimane will be joined by Tshwane Mayor, Solly Msimanga, DA National Spokesperson, Refiloe Nt’sekhe, and DA Gauteng Leader, John Moodey.

Date: Thursday, 20 July 2017

Time: 10:30

Venue: National Treasury Headquarters

Address: 40 WF Nkomo Street, Pretoria Central, Tswhane

GPS Coordinates: -25.746918, 28.180177
