The ANC-government brought us e-tolling in Gauteng, but if the DA were in power in the province we would stop the e-tolling project, just as we did for the residents of the Western Cape, where we were elected to govern.

Thanks to DA government action, the Western Cape High Court has set aside SANRAL’s unlawful decision to toll the N1 and N2 in the Cape. This is an enormous victory for the DA-led City of Cape Town and all the people of the province, especially the poorest in our communities. We believe that tolling would have further impoverished our communities and would deprive the people of the Western Cape of a fundamental freedom: the freedom to move and to seek opportunities.            

If enough people in Gauteng vote for the DA, we will have the power that we need to challenge the tolling project in Gauteng too. A vote for the DA is a vote for Freedom, Fairness and Opportunity for All.
