The DA is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our friend, brother and colleague, Kenneth Sililo Mubu, MP.

Mr Mubu, who served as the DA's Shadow Minister of Public Works and previously, Shadow Minister of International Relations and Cooperation will be dearly missed.

Born in Lusaka, Zambia, Mr Mubu, holds a BA in Education from the University of Zambia; an MA in Journalism and Public Relations from Ball State University, USA; and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Leicester University, United Kingdom as well as a Certificate in Public Relations Management from the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRiSA).

Mr Mubu contribution to building South Africa’s constitutional democracy, through the various roles he held in his lifetime, and the DA’s presence in the greater Pretoria region will never be forgotten and will be built upon by generations to come.

On behalf the DA, I convey my condolences to the family of Mr Mubu, especially his wife Nombulelo, and children, Kenneth Junior and Tari.
