The Council for Medical Schemes referred to in Section 1 of the Council for Medical Schemes Levies Act, 2000 (Act No. 58 of 2000), after consultation with the Minister of Health, hereby confirms the imposition of levies on medical schemes, as set out in the Notice of Levies in the government gazette (No:41259) dated 17 November 2017.
