The Congress of South African Trade Unions in the Northern Cape will hold a Provincial Gender Conference on Friday 24 October 2014 at the De Beers Country Club in Kimberley.
The purpose of that conference is to resuscitate the Provincial Gender Structure of COSATU and develop a Programme of Action for gender Activists in the Province.
We will be graced with the presence of the national Gender Co-ordinator and Progressive Gender Activists. The conference will be attended by 100 Gender Activists from all Affiliates in the Province.
Among the issues to be discussed are the following critical issues:

- COSATU Gender Programme and Campaigns
- Unpacking COSATU Resolution on Gender
- Vulnerable Workers’ Campaign
- Retirement Reforms
- Election of the Interim Co-ordinating Structure
