COSATU in KwaZulu Natal passes its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mr Roland Mqwebu famously known as “Mkhize” of Emzini Wezinsizwa.

His loss will be greatly felt by workers, since he was a passionate and dedicated actor who continued to use his talent to entertain and educate our masses about the rich culture and history of our country.

Mr Roland Mqwebu has featured in many films locally and internationally such as Emzini Wezinsizwa, Shaka Zulu, Deliwe and many others.

It would be noted that all the above mentioned films in their times have dominated Television shows in SABC, whose main viewers are drawn mostly from the poor working class families. Our country continues to lose quality legends, which is a course for worry and a call for action to ensure that the Sector has enough capacity to reproduce legends of such calibre.
The memorial Service is scheduled to take place as follows:

          Time           : 15:00 – 21:00
