Competition Commission appoints Head of Legal Services

The Commission has appointed Bukhosibakhe Majenge as the Divisional Manager of the Legal Services division with effect from 01 April 2015. Majenge will take over from Wendy Ndlovu who has been appointed Manager in the Office of the Commissioner.

Bukhosibakhe has worked for the Commission for a cumulative period of more than 7 years, having joined the Commission as Head of Corporate Compliance in 2008. He was appointed Principal Legal Counsel in 2009 and has been acting Manager of the Legal Services division since September 2014, until his appointment.

Bukhosibakhe was admitted as an attorney in 2000 and holds a BPROC and LLM from Fort Hare and the University of South Africa respectively.

“Bukhosibakhe is a welcome addition to the Commission’s team as we strengthen our legal team. His appointment is also a testimony to the Commission’s depth of talent.” said Commissioner Tembinkosi Bonakele.
