The Portfolio Committee on Communications will tomorrow (5 September 2017) deliberate and recommend a list of 12 candidates to fill the non-executive board positions at the South African Broadcasting Corporations (SABC).

The 12 names will be tabled in the National Assembly for final adoption and then forwarded to the President for his appointment.

At the same time, the Committee will also interview 8 candidates to fill the three non-executive board positions at the Medial Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA). The candidates are: Adv Lufuno Nevondwe, Prof Onkaetse Sheila Mmusi, Ms Sibongile Gangxa, Mr Hubert Matlou, Ms Nombeko Mbava, Mr Ronald Lamola and Ms Martina Della-Togna.
