Cities to play their part in building national competitiveness

Positioning South Africa as a globally competitive destination is central to Brand South Africa’s mandate. Throughout the month of February Brand South Africa will engage with various stakeholders in the Northern Cape, Free State and Western Cape to discuss the vital contribution each province adds to South Africa’s national competitiveness.

Cities are critical in purveying the image of a globally competitive country and are therefore of utmost importance in building and communicating national competitiveness.  Brand South Africa has therefore throughout 2015 hosted workshops across the country to ascertain the views of a variety of stakeholders in building the country’s reputation and competitiveness.

Media are invited to join in on the discussions around how all sectors of society can work together to position South Africa as investment globally competitive destination.  In addition to these discussions, Brand South Africa will share nation brand corporate identity toolkit to empower attendees to cohesively communicate a positive image of South Africa across various communications platforms.
