Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group wins Law Firm of the Year at Imbasa Yegolide Awards

Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group's Pension & Financial Services Regulation team has won the Law Firm of the Year award for the sixth time at the 7th annual Imbasa Yegolide Awards, organised by Batseta Council of Retirement Funds for South Africa. The law firm segment of the awards honoured service providers who have demonstrated professional excellence in their service of retirement funds. The team has received the Imbasa Yegolide award for the best pension law practice several times.

The 2016 Imbasa Yegolide Awards said they were seeking to honour service providers who integrated the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles as part of the ethos and value proposition for service excellence within the retirement community.

David Geral, partner in Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group’s Pensions & Financial Services Regulation team, notes,  "We are honoured to have won this award again. Our team is the largest, most experienced team of specialist pension lawyers in South Africa. The fair treatment of customers is at the heart of everything we do, and our clients recognise the essential principles behind this ethos. We are delighted that our efforts are being recognised."
