After visiting the family of the late comrade Amina Cachalia the ANC
Women's League has decided they will not go ahead with their planned
memorial service set up for this coming Thursday out of respect for the
family's wishes.

The Cachalia family indicated they will hold a separate memorial service
after their mourning period which they will invite the ANCWL to
participate
and attend.

The ANCWL respects the wishes of the family and therefore will not hold
our own memorial service. The Cachalia family are confident this would be
comrade Amina's wishes to have everyone celebrate her life together at one
gathering.

The ANCWL apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused.
