AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETS POLICE AND PUBLIC WORKS MINISTERS

27th July 2015

The meeting of the Ad Hoc
Committee on Police Minister’s Nkandla report involving the Public
Works and Police Ministers will take place this Wednesday (29 July 2015)
from 10am at Committee Room E249, Parliament.

The two Ministers are expected to, among other things, shed some light
on the concerns Committee members have regarding the inflation of prices
and poor workmanship which occurred during the security and non-security
upgrades at President Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla private residence.

The Committee visited the President’s private residence last
Wednesday and found that the money spent on Nkandla was grossly inflated
when compared to the quality of the work done.

Details of the meeting are as follows:

Date: 29 July 2015
Venue: E249, Second Floor, New Wing Building, Parliament
Time: 10am
