A Right To Be Heard: Listening to Children and Young People on the Move

This report presents the perspectives of nearly 4 000 young migrants and refugees who responded to a recent global poll conducted by UNICEF. Globally, 30-million children and young people – including 12-million refugees and asylum seekers – lived outside their countries of origin in 2017.

The report highlights many of the challenges faced by these uprooted youth, as well as their hopes and aspirations. It also reminds world leaders of UNICEF’s six-point agenda for action to protect the rights of all migrant and refugee children and young people.
