Webber Wentzel continues its success at the 2015 African Legal Awards, walking away with the award for the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team of the Year at the ceremony that was held on Friday, 16 October 2015 at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg. The title was awarded to Odette Geldenhuys for the case of University of Stellenbosch Legal Aid Clinic and 15 others v Minister of Justice and Correctional Services and 17 others.  Webber Wentzel was also highly commended as one of the contenders for the African Law Firm of the Year award in the category of large firm.

Hosted by Legal Week (organisers of The British Legal Awards) and the Corporate Lawyers Association of South Africa (CLASA), the African Legal Awards represents excellence and innovation in the legal profession on the continent.
