Perhaps young Julius Malema should take a look at some of the goings on at many of South Africa's key nationalised companies, before turning his attention to the mining scene. Then again, perhaps he too would welcome the opportunity to add his own unique spice to the State-owned enterprises brew. Maybe he is even one of the outside advisers President Jacob Zuma has in mind to help Public Enterprises Minister Barbara Hogan and her Cabinet colleagues (some of whom have direct interests in the outcome) in helping to shape the future for these enterprises.
